In 2023, CFA Society Melbourne has closely worked with the CFA Institute Asia-Pacific Research Exchange (ARX) which offers free access to research information and webinars from industry professionals, financial institutions, scholars, regulators, and CFA charterholders. Our editor's selection of posts on current topics of high relevance to industry practitioners include:

• FinTech: Artificial intelligence, crypto-assets, distributed ledgers, big data, and relevant regulation.

• ESG: Current research on environmental, social and governance issues

• Sector Analysis: CFA Institute series on investment fundamentals of industries

During 2023, we engaged with industry to increase recognition and build market integrity via a collaboration between ARX and CFA Society Melbourne Monash University through a webinar series aimed to help investment professionals, corporates, and the broader society better understand modern slavery risks, the various approaches taken by companies and the investment community to identify and manage these risks, as well as the challenges that remain.
